CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST POSITIONS

At our practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a spacious, beautiful office suite, administrative assistants that will help keep you and your schedule organized in our paperless office, and free weekly case consultation with other Potomac Therapy Group therapists. You will also receive support for your own professional networking and outreach initiatives.

We are currently seeking motivated, in-person, hybrid, and virtual clinical psychologists experienced with couples, teens, children, family and/or individual therapy, with after-school availability.

Private practice experience is preferred, and we are looking for psychologists who are licensed in Maryland, or another PSYPACT state and authorized to practice telepsychology with clients in PSYPACT participating states under the authority of PSYPACT.

This is a part-time independent contractor position with the possibility of building to a full caseload (20+ sessions per week) over time. Competitive commission pay and performance-based incentive bonuses are available.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients, provide clinical diagnoses, determine mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions to clients with various mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the course of treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of psychology

Skills:
- Understanding of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate with psychiatrists on medication management
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Experience working with individuals, couples, families, groups, children, and/or adolescents, including providing age-appropriate interventions
- Proficient in clinical diagnosis
- Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts and ability to apply evidence-based interventions
